Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will have the ability to identify the main lithotypes ; will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of basic geology, mainly on lithology, geodynamics and solid earth structures

The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology.

Structure of the rift zones. Structure of the oceanic ridges. Convergent margins. Subduction zones. Continental collision zones. Transform margins.
