Knowledge
The student who completes the course successfully will posses a basic methodological basis in the field of Physics that represent the basics of the further development in the field of Electromagnetism (General Physics II, Measurements), of Applied Mechanics and Structural Mechanics and of the Thermodynamics, Applied Thermodynamics and Energetics.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
- In the written exam (2-3 hours), the student must demonstrate his/her ability in methodological solution of a problem in the fields of Mechanics and/or Fluid statics.
- During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression.
- The student's ability to explain correctly the main topics presented during the course at the board will be assessed.
