Knowledge
The student will be able to identify the health care needs in critically ill patients and to establish the appropriate care plans.
The student will be able to manage devices for monitoring and treatment of critically ill patients.
The student will be able to identify critical situations and act independently and in multidisciplinary team.

In the written test, the student must demonstrate:

Stabilisation and transport of critically ill patients, Coma, The brain death, Oxygen transport and metabolic demands, The acute bleeding and transfusion support, Shock and clinical profiles. Respiratory, kidney and metabolic failure. Invasive mechanical ventilation. Abdominal compartment syndrome. Note of hemodialysis in critically ill Patients. Interpretation of the Arterial Blood Gas. Chest, abdominal, limbs, head and spinal injuries. Children, elderl and pregnant women trauma. Hemodynamic monitoring in critical care. Arterial access management. Infusion Pump Management. Advanced airway management devices. Nursing Care Plans in neurologic, cardiologic an respiratory diseases.
