Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will have the ability to understand how financial institutions, and insurance industry in particular, manage, control and mitigate risks. He or she will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of understand the impacts of the financial crisis on the risk management processes and understand the opportunities and challenges deriving from the new regulatory framework of Solvency II.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The final oral exam aims to ascertain the knowledge of the main topics presented during the course, his/her ability to discuss the main course contents, his/her propriety of expression.

Syllabus
The course aims to analyze and to go into the topics of accountability and management of the insurance companies; on the other hand, the course studies insurance markets in order to the recent changes also at an international level.
