Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will have the ability to connect basic knowledges of mathematics and physics and applied knowledges. The student will know both the fundamental laws of mechanics and the operating principles of common mechanisms and machines and their components. Students are expected to acquire basic knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, vibrations, friction, wear, lubrication and mechanical transmissions.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and to explain correctly the main topics presented during the course.

Methods:

  • Final oral exam

Teaching methods

Delivery: face to face

Learning activities:

  • attending lectures
  • individual study

Attendance: Not mandatory

Teaching methods:

  • Lectures
