Learning outcomes
Knowledge
Besides the knowledge of fundamentals of mechanics of continuous media, the student will be able to apply the concepts to solve problems related to the arguments of course. The course constitutes a basic background to addressing more complex problems in Geophysics.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student must be able to solve problems related to the arguments presented in the course. The exam is actually a discussion aimed at ascertaining the capability of the student to address a real physical problem on the bases of his acquired knowledge. Problems are selected in order to fit the program of the Course.

Methods:

  • Final oral exam

Teaching methods

Delivery: face to face

Learning activities:

  • attending lectures
  • individual study

Attendance: Mandatory
