Knowledge
- Students will learn and be able to apply standard microeconomic theories to explain the behavior of individuals, businesses, and industries in market-based systems.
- Students will be able to present economic theory and applications in written and oral form.
- Students will be familiar with the main tools to conduct analyses of current economic issues using mathematical models, equations, graphs.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
- In the written exam, the student must demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and his/her capacity to solve simple applied problems.
- During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material, organizing concepts thoughtfully and rigorously and with propriety of expression.
