Renewable energy sources and geothermics. Origin of terrestrial heat. The heat flow. Conduction and convection. Geothermal anomalies and geodynamics. Relations between volcanism and geothermal energy. The sources of thermal anomalies in the crust, magma chambers in volcanic areas, intrusions, extensional areas. The cooling of magmatic bodies by conduction and convection.
