Knowledge
The objective of the course is presenting the main models, methods and tools for the management and organisation of firms. Such models and tools will allow the student not only to interpret the specific reality in which (s)he will be involved, but also to identify, formulate and solve problems.
Besides, the course offers a facultative laboratory for the analysis of the balance sheets of existing firms working in the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) industry. The students that take part in such above-mentioned laboratory have to report their analysis and present their main findings. The laboratory's aim is that of both teaching technical competencies and developing capacities in terms of team working, writing a report and presenting results in a limited slot of time.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
During the written exam (1.5 hours on average), the student is asked to solve two exercises in order to demonstrate his/her ability to put into practice the basic principles illustrated throughout the course.
During the oral exam, the student will be assessed on his/her ability in discussing the main course contents with competence, critical awareness and propriety of expression.

The final test is composed by a written exam followed by an oral exam.
