Knowledge
The student who completes the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of a main part of Civil Law, completing the competence adquired by the course of Civil Law I and preparing a full competence in the whole fielding. He or she will be able to look critically at the system and to demonstrate his or her ability to define law problems, to approach to them and to present the results in a structured way.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology.

Syllabus
The course covers all the general rules concerning obligations and their sources. The course provides notions on the main aspects of the relationship between creditors and debtors.
A very inportant part of the course concerns tort law in its modern development.
The most important types of contracts are taken into account.
