Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who completes the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the main processes and events in change in business organization and management of large firms and corporations from XIX century US and European experiences to modern evolutions.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology.

Syllabus
Development of modern large firms, their organization, strategic management and structures. Evolution from individual firms to separation of property from control, and evolution of main large corporations.
