Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course is expected to acquire:
a) a solid knowledge of:
differential and integral calculus for functions of one variable;
real sequences and series;
b) a good ability in calculating extrema, derivatives and integrals, for functions of one variable and in solving particular types of differential equations.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his knowledge of the topics of the course. The
written exam will concerns his ability to solve exercises; the oral exam concerns
statements, proofs and examples.

Further information:
Final written + oral exam. No fixed percentage between the two parts.
Written exam: the minimal score for the admission to the oral exam is 15/30
Oral exam: the minimal score for passing the exam: 18/30.
During the course 3 or 4 intermediate written tests may allow the student to skip the
final written exam, if his score in each test is not less than 18/30
