Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of:
1) firms' regulations and organizational forms (with particular reference to
corporate law);
2) Transport and Maritime law, with particular reference to contracts, international sale of goods and
international bank guarantees
Assessment criteria of knowledge
- The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology.
- During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the topics with propriety of expression.

Syllabus
The firm: agricultural and commercial enterprise. The small business.
Corporations: companies limited by shares and limited liability companies. The co-operative companies, M&A and spin off. Corporate groups. Societas Europaea.
The Maritime enterprise; charterparties; bills of lading; transport of persons and goods and related liabilities; international sales of goods; international bank guarantees.
