Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the main principles concerning the Italian Welfare and Social Security Law, as well as in relation to the private labour law.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression.

Syllabus
The aim of the course is to provide students with a deep knowledge of the Italian Welfare and Social Law, with a particular focus on the scial and economic reasons reasons at the basis of the law. Some of the main aspects of the course are the following: the constitutional principles, the system's organisation, law of retirement and unemployment protection.
