Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who completes the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the main neurological and psychiatric pathologies of the developmental age (cerebral palsy, neuromuscular diseases, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, etc.). He or she will acquire the capacities to adopt the most important rehabilitation procedures available for these disorders.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on the activities carried out during the internship period. In the written report, the student must demonstrate his/her capacities to describe and explain his/her psychomotor evaluation of a clinical case.

Syllabus
The course provides notions on the main developmental disabilities (0-18 years) and also approaches the main issues related to methods of evaluation and rehabilitation in children with neurological disorders (cerebral palsy, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, intellectual disability and others) and psychiatric disorders (autism spectrum disorder, behavioral disorders, learning disorders).
