Learning outcomes
Knowledge
Students who successfully complete the course will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of skills related to the analysis of motor function both in general population and in specific subjects such as elderly, physically and mentally disabled subjects. He or she will acquire the ability to perform an activity program aimed at recreational and leisure type activities and at sports and mental well-being through the promotion of active lifestyles for individuals or groups.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression.

Syllabus
The course provides knowledge to maintain the best physical performance in normal subjects throughout the whole life and the procedures for the use of physical exercise suitable to each age bracket and finalized to the prevention of diseases and paramorphisms related to posture and disorders due to sedentary lifestyle. The theoretical aspects are complemented by practical demonstrations on field and in laboratory in order to acquire specific skills on studied topics.
