Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who completes the course successfully will be able to realize a complete geological map at different scales in areas of medium geological difficult processing a complete legend, tectonic and stratigraphic schemes and building a geological section He or she will be also able to read and understand a geological map and describe the main structural and stratigraphic features.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
In the written exam (4 hours, reading of a geological map and build of a geologcal cross-section), the student must demonstrate the ability to put into practice and to execute the activities illustrated and carried out under the guidance of the teacher during the course. During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the excercises developed during the course with propriety of expression.

Methods:

  • Final oral exam
  • Final written exam
  • Written report
