Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The course is aimed at deepening the knowledge, provided by the course of Fluid Machines, in the field of thermo fluid dynamics and operation of automotive engines. The student who successfully completes the course is suitable for natural placement in fluid dynamics design, development and testing of automotive engines, with ability of cooperation in the field of engine control as well.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student must be able to demonstrate his knowledge of all topics, demonstrate good understanding of the concepts and the ability to correlate them.

Methods:

  • Final oral exam

Further information:
The examination consists of open questions, aimed at verifying the understanding of concepts and the ability to correlate and process them. For this purpose, for example, the student is asked to explain why a certain phenomenon occurs or what happens when a parameter is varied.

Teaching methods

Delivery: face to face

Learning activities:

  • attending lectures
  • participation in seminar
  • individual study

Attendance: Advised

Teaching methods:

  • Lectures
  • Seminar
