Knowledge
Students are expected to acquire knowledge on principles of technologies, on methods and instruments as applied in the study and evaluation of physical and sport activities.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
In the written exam (2 hours), the student must demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material.

Biomedical instrumentation: measures and errors. Transducers and sensors; biomedical signals (characteristics, origin, artifacts); amplifiers and filters; Analog to Digital converter; signal processing (event detection, parameters extraction, time and frequency analysis, classification); Fast Fourier Transform. Principles of electrical safety. Motion analysis, postural assessment and stabilometry, evaluation of muscle strength, muscle activity rating, rating of the injured muscle, assessment of body composition.
