At the end of the lectures, the student will be able to date, understand and edit a Greek inscription coming fom the Classical world.
- Per l'accertamento delle conoscenze si svolgeranno a lezione discussioni e prove in itinere su alcuni documenti epigrafici.
There is provision for an interim checks on students' learning progress, on the basis of discussion of Greek inscriptions.
The student will be able to make research on the epigraphic sources from a historical and chronological point of view.
Practical activities will be envisaged using online databases like PHI 7 and so on.
The student will be able to collect and analyze the epigraphical Greek sources.
During lectures, students' learning progress will be veified on the basis of their intepretation of a Greek inscription.

During lectures slides will be projected, databases on websites will be used and tested.

Attendance at the lectures is required.
There is a final oral exam. The student has to prove his ability in interpreting, translating and discussing a Greek inscription analyzed during lectures
