Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who completes the course successfully will be able to: - manage accounting aspects of major extraordinary business operations and business combinations; - manage fiscal aspects of major extraordinary business operations and business combinations; - manage legal aspects of major extraordinary business operations and business combinations; - analysis and problem solving approach to business crisis - manage bankruptcy proceedings.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
Students will be assessed on their demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. - During the oral exam students must be able to demonstrate their knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss some case studies and provide adequate problem solutions. - In the written exam (3 hours) students must demonstrate their knowledge of the course material and solve the problems included in the test. - Students must also demonstrate the ability to put into practice and to execute, with critical analysis, the activities illustrated and/or carried out under the supervision of the teacher during the course.

Syllabus
The course aims to provide students with specific professional and managerial skills mainly in the area of administration. The curriculum will focus on the main elements of business practice, the legal and taxation framework of extra-ordinary business operations such as merger and acquisitions, lease of company and assignment or exchange of shares. The course will also include an introduction to insolvency and enforcement procedure, with particular attention to taxation.
