Learning outcomes
Knowledge
Learning objectives: The course aims to provide students with a concrete analysis of world production and related activities that are the basis of economic activities and the real world. In practice, the study of the relationship between technology, science and technology, of production cycles, of industrial establishments and related services is then followed by the analysis of the energy problem and the study of several industries of national and regional level. .
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. The student's ability to explain correctly the main topics presented during the course at the board will be assessed.

The principal topics of the course are as follows: - the relationship between technology and production; - science,technology and techniques; - technology development and the market; - product development: LCA analisys; - organization of production cycles; - the relationship between technology, quality and environment; - environmental management system; - quality management system; - case studies.
