Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to recognize the different landforms and interpretate them in terms of morphological agents. He/she will get an advanced knowledge of the main morphological processes responsible for landscape shaping and will be able to detect their state of activity.

Morphological agents; landforms, deposits and processes; Forme, depositi e processi; structural landforms; weathering; the cryosphere: glacial and periglacial landforms; glacial chronology; fluvial landforms and alluvial plains; the drainage network; coastal landforms of rocky and sedimentary coasts; landslades and other gravitational landforms;landforms of the karst environment; remote sensing applied to landforms detection; geomorphological mapping.
