Learning outcomes
Knowledge
Use of the ORCAD PSPICE circuit simulator for analog and digital circuits. Design, simulation, prototyping and test of simple analog and digital circuits.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
Effectiveness of the development of the proposed circuit: i design; ii simulation; iii prototyping; iv test.

Lab test 100% (can be divided in two 50% partial tests).

Syllabus
The PSPICE circuit simulator. Netlist, devices, models, subcircuits, available analyses. Laboratory development of integrators, derivators, oscillators, multivibrators (operational amplifier and 555-timer based), digital gates based on discrete components, combinatorial and sequential digital circuits.
Bibliography
Datasheets of uA741, 2N2222, 2N2219, 74LSxx series, 1N41418. A reference electronics text (Millman, Sedra-Smith) can be useful.
