Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will have the ability to treat Sudeck Syndrome as well as stiffness of foot joints, caused by trauma or immobilization.
Furthermore the student will be able to improve results of surgical procedures performed in order to treat fracture, dislocation, tendon tears. Knowledge of podologic and surgical treatment of the flat foot and halux valgus will be given.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression.

Syllabus
Topics treated will be high speed trauma as well prain and compression fratture.
Particular attention will be given to healing process of bone, ligament as well as tendon.
basics about orthesis foot treatment will be explained and encourage, basics of kinesiology will be underlined.
