Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge about the recent updates in psychiatric rehabilitation.
In particular will have a better understanding about the most recent acquisitions in neuroscience with particular regard to psychiatric disorders and will learn to apply them in a clinical context and in a rehabilitation setting.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her knowledge about main course contents using the appropriate terminology.

Syllabus
The course provides notions about the recent updates in psychiatric rehabilitation.
The sminar will explain the rehabilitation techniques used for different psychiatric disorders illustrating also the clinical studies supporting their effectiveness. The course will deal, also, with the general disability associated with the psychiatric disorders and with issues associated with the intake of psychiatric medications.
