Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of restorative dentistry, endodontics and periodontology. The student will acquire knowledge and understanding of restorative dentistry, endodontics and periodontology theory and practice. Lectures are specifically designed to show the most efficient clinical methods and tecniques. Emphasis will be given on multidisciplinary treatment planning enabling the students to use and to correctly interpret all appropriate investigations (e.g. clinical probing, radiographic, vitality tests).
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her ability to discuss the main topics presented during the course

Syllabus
Restorative Dentistry: dental materials, resin composites, fiber post, bonding procedures, rubber dam, adhesion, tooth whitening, direct and indirect restorative procedures, inlays and onlays Endodontics:biological aspects of the pulp and periapical tissues; radiographic exams; endodontic instruments; filling tecniques; fiber post; endo-perio lesions Periodontology: Surgical component of periodontology will be thoroughly evaluated. Thus, conservative, respective and regenerative surgical techniques will be assessed in every details. Specific aspects of diagnosis and treatment of furcation defects and peri-implant diseases will also be provided
