Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will have the ability to run basic techniques of molecular biology: PCR, RT-PCR, Direct Sequencing.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student must be able to run the final practical demonstration properly and explain the methods performed showing proper knowledge of the basis of the techniques.

Further information:
The final exam includes the evaluation of the final practical demonstration (50%), the laboratory report (30%) and the laboratory practical skill and expertise (20%).

Molecular biology, quality control of qualitative and quantitative molecular biology techniques, cell culture, molecular cloning, hybridization, gene amplification and sequencing.

The student will be trained to find in Pub Med and University Libraries the appropriate published articles and reviews to study.
