Knowledge
The student who successfully complets the course will have the ability to observe, focus and write down a rehabilitation programme for patients with voice disabilities or disorders like dysphonia, vocal cord paralysis, total laryngectomy, children voice disorders etc; will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of pathologies of interest and rehabilitation methods, methods to produce esophagic voice and actually available prosthesis; will be able to manage independently a patient case.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss about a patient case.Methods:

Syllabus
The course provide notions of the main voice disorders and pathologies causing voice disabilities; the course also explain various rehabilitation methods, some of which can be directly observed during internship. Another part of the course explain fluency disorders (stuttering, stummering etc) and knowned possibilities for their rehabilitation.
