Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the legislative aspects that regulate the production and marketing of grapes, musts and wines. He will have the basic cognitive tools essential to proceed to the continuous updating of his knowledge. He will have the ability to deal with technical services and regulatory bodies to carry out the regulation and protection of the wine sector, such as National and Regional Departments of Agriculture,provincial and municipal authorities, Chambers of Commerce, PDO Consortia etc.

Syllabus
The purpose of this course is to examine the regulation of the production and marketing of wine. The course focuses on the study of European and international regulations in this field, as they are the cause of national wine law. The course takes into account viticultural, technological and fiscal issues, but also prevention of frauds and sanctions. Instructions will be focused around the major theoretical issues of wine law, by a detailed analysis of the legislation.
