Students will acquire tools for understanding and analysis of the tourist sector. They will learn to adopt strategies, policies and actions for tourist development of the territory. Syllabus
The course intends to provide the basic elements to understand and analyse the underlying mechanisms of governance and management of tourist develpoment of a territory. The main problems of governance, communication, promotion and marketing of destinations and their attractivity and in particular the cultural ones will be introduced to students. Furthermore the course intends to describe and study in depth the relationships between different cultural and tourism sectors, in particular strategies of cultural marketing.
