Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demostrate a solid knowledge of the main common ear disease; he\she will have the ability to apply the audiological diagnostic test to different ear disorders; he\she will be aware of the main ear surgical procedures.
The student should be aware of the main ENT disease and particularly those linked with the audio-phonatory system
Assessment criteria of knowledge
In the written exam (30 min hours, 60 questions multiple choice, open questions), the student must demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and to organise an effective and correctly written reply.

Syllabus
Ear inflammatory disorders (middle and external ear); Middle ear malformation; Otosclerosis; Ear surgery; Sensorineural hearing loss: etiology, diagnosis; Meniere disease; Noise induced hearing loss. Audiological tests in ear surgery; Cochlear implant surgery; Upper airways disorders; nose pathology; Laryngeal pathology; Oral Pathology.
