Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The Student who completes the course successfully will have the ability to be aware of the main endocrine and metabolic diseases, in particular of diabetes and dyslipidemia; She/He will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the nutritional approach to a given patient with a specific disease and will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of how to manage nutritional strategies to prevent and/or contribute to cure that given patient.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
Students are evaluated on their ability to discuss the content of the course and thei attitude to solve problems in relation to the diseases presented during the teaching

Syllabus
The course deals with the main endocrinological and metabolic diseases and syndromes, in particular diabetes mellitus and dyslipidemias, providing the essential pathophysiological and clinical bases, to then present in detail the rationale of and the practical approach to nutritional therapy in the several conditions.
