Knowledge
Students are expected to acquire:
Knowledge about tools and methods of strategic analysis;
problem-solving competences;
tools to study the competitive strategy of the firm;
tools to study the industry structure.

The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology.Methods:

Syllabus
This course is designed to provide an introduction to the firm’s Business Strategy.
In particular the course focuses on the competitive strategy, the resource based view, and the strategic management.
The course is practice-oriented.
It is based on the use of case studies as teaching method.
