Learning outcomes
Knowledge
At the end of the clinical internship of the 3rd year, the student will be able to relate to the patient and his/her relatives; Identify the needs underlying physiological and pathological processes of people in critical condition, respond to these by being ready with a personalized care plan, based on scientific evidence even in the sectors of high intensity and specialized care; must ensure the correct application of diagnostic and therapeutic prescriptions; Collaborate with the care team and when necessary rely on support staff.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be evaluated based on his/her ability to apply theoretical knowledge within a clinical context, Establishes an effective relationship with the patient, relatives and team creating an environment of trust. Acts with competence in various scenarios and shows leadership by facing these situations professionally. Observes/identifies the needs and the state of the patient and knows how to convey these in an appropriate manner, responds to these by being ready with a personalized care plan, based on scientific evidence in the sectors of high intensity and specialized care Performs the correct application of diagnostic and therapeutic prescriptions; Collaborates with the care team recognizing its roles and responsibilities and when necessary, relies on support staff.

Syllabus
Understand and observe the reactions of the patient to the disease; Recover, develop and maintain the patient's resources; Assist the patient during the various phases of life, respecting socio-cultural differences; Manage appropriately and skillfully situations of emergency /urgency; Manage appropriately and skillfully the clinical issues of the patient; Use scientific evidence to increase the knowledge acquired in relation to the problems that surround the patient, the family and the community; Apply the methodology of the nursing process while considering the human and material resources available
