Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge in organization and management of pediatric care. The student will acquire the ability to participate in staff planning and management in the area of pediatric care. He will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of work organization in pediatric care of children with special needs.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
- The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. - During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression. - The student's ability to explain correctly the main topics presented during the course at the board will be assessed. - The student must demonstrate the ability to put into practice the activities illustrated by the teacher during the course.

Syllabus
The course provides notions on: - modern pediatric care; - changes of pediatric diseases in the last years; - organization of pediatric care and children with special needs; - improving quality in pediatric care; The course will focus on techniques to organize, manage and evaluate the resources, activities and budget in the field of pediatric care.
