Learning outcomes
Knowledge
Students are expected to acquire: some knowledge of the main teaching methodologies for mathematics; knowledge about some ICT resources (such as Interactive Digital Board) and didactic software for mathematics (such as GeoGebra); knowledge about how to design and implement ICT supported teaching units.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
In the presentation of their own teaching units, students must demonstrate the ability to put into practice and to execute, with critical awareness, the activities illustrated or carried out under the guidance of the teacher during the course.

Syllabus
Teaching methodologies for mathematics: chalk and board, group work, problem solving, collaborative learning, mathematics in context... Didactic resources: blackboard, Intercative Digital Board... Educational software: excel, geogebra, cabri... Analysis of existing teaching units to be implemented by the use of ICT. Design of original teaching units with the support of the ICT.
Bibliography
Students are advised to read scientific papers about mathematics education with the ICT and to access different websites where mathematics teaching units are made available.
