Knowledge
The student will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the main neurological disorders occurring in children and adolescents. He/she will also acquire the main information related to the rehabilitation procedures available for these disorders.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
In the written exam the student must demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and to organise an effective and correctly written reply

Syllabus
Classification and prevalence of the main neurological disorders in childhood and adolescents (cerebral palsy, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, intellectual disability and others). Importance and methods of rehabilitation in children, guidelines for rehabilitation of cerebral palsy and neuromuscular disorders, physical therapy, orthoses, surgery and drugs in motor rehabilitation.
