Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will have the ability to read and argue a paper, effectively; will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of accessing primarily the MEDLINE database of references and abstracts on life sciences and biomedical topics; will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of assessing the result; will be aware of Handling bibliograpy a and references of the researched topics, etc..
Assessment criteria of knowledge
During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression. A written report is expected, The student must demonstrate the ability to put into practice and to execute, the learnt topics and guidelines.

Syllabus
The course provides notions and basic principles concerning the pyramid of knowledge, and the major kind of studies and the paper evaluation process. The course also approaches the main issues of Database search engine, the right use of boolennian operators. The Bottom line will be: how to find, read, evaluate, and write a scintific paper
