Relativamente al modulo: RIABILITAZIONE NEUROLOGICA

Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will have the scientific and professional ability in the most frequent causes of disability and handicap in order to overcoming the desease to get specific functional diagnosis, formulation of a prognosis for recovery, and the consequent setting projects and rehabilitation programs. He or she will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge in the fields of physiology, pathophysiology,neuropsychology, myology, behaviour and clinical aspects and therapy of functional impairments. He or she will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of new technologies for diagnosis and therapies, as robotic and informatic routines. Lastly, he or she will be aware of specific approaches of this part of medicine of the functional impairments, so to conduct the work of a team of rehabilitation to bring the definition, and periodic verification of a Rehabilitation Project.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression. The student's ability to explain correctly the main topics presented during the course at the board will be assessed.

Syllabus
The course provides notions on the main sindromes responsible for functional impairments in the fields of neuropsicology, motor control, myology, autonomic nervous system and behaviour. The course also approaches the main issues related to clinical and instrumental diagnosis with particular regard to physiology, pathology and biology of skeletal muscle and nervous systems, with particular emphasis on good practice of kinesiology, cognitive functional study and physical therapy.
