Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will have the ability to implement the most relevant techniques related to psychiatric rehabilitation, with reference to the principal neurological disorders; will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the basic clinical presentation of the most relevant neurological conditions, the natural evolution, and the principles for diagnosis and treatment; will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of the disorders of central and periferal neurological systems; will be aware of the major possibilities of rehabilitation of neurological and psuchiatric comorbidities.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discussthe appropriate aspects of the main topics presented during the courese, with correct identification of the written questions during the final exam.

The final evaluation consists in a written examination dealing with the main features of the neurological diseases.

Programma (contenuti dell'insegnamento)

Descrizione programma: 

  1. Principi di Psicopatologia generale
  2. Disturbo d’ansia di separazione dell’adulto (ASAD)
  3.  Disturbo dello spettro panico-agorafobico
  4. Principi di Psicosomatica

 

Gli argomenti suddetti saranno trattati con attenzione a diversi modelli diagnostici (categoriale e dimensionale) ed agli interventi terapeutici (terapie farmacologiche, psicoterapie, interventi riabilitativi). 
Syllabus
Definition, Epidemiology, Aetiology and pathophysiology,clinical presentation, diagnosis and treatment of: Epilepsies, Multiple sclerosis, Dementias, Parkinson's disease, Headache, Myopathies, Disesases of the periferal nervous sysstem, neurophysiological exams related to the diagnosis and moniotring of therapeutic responses, principles of comorbid conditions, rehabilitation techniques.
