Knowledge
The course aims at providing students the fundamentals of computer aided design.
The main objective is the creation of virtual models representing the geometry of industrial products, especially in the field of mechanics. Theoretical and practical elements for modeling of complex machines through the use of advanced CAD tools is treated.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to model some industrial products by means of the CAD system used during the course.
The periodic practical demonstration could be used for student evaluation.
