Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the main signal processing procedures for signal denoising and features extraction. A special emphaysis is put on signal pre-processing procedures common to the most important imaging instrumentation, and on the trade-off between image resolution and physical and technological aspects. The course contemplates a consistent number of CFU to implement simulation and processing procedures using Matlab.
