Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The course provides an introduction to writing for the stage, a text not written to be read, but written to be acted out, and shows the potential of the playwright play in the creative theatrical process. The course includes laboratory aspects, with writing exercises and analytical reading of exemplary texts both classical and contemporary, to conceive a final work in multiple scenes, so to experience the expressive and narrative possibilities that the composition and the dramaturgical “editing” offer to those who write for the stage.
