Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will have the ability to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the proceedings before Italian Constitutional Court also in a comparative perspective
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression.

Syllabus
The course covers the birth of the constitutional justice in Europe, the models of constitucional justice, particularly the Italian model. There are examined the composition, the control on laws, the judgement on the conflicts of attribution among State institutions and on the admission of referendums for the abolition of laws. Finally it is taken into consideration the check made by the Constitutional Court on the governamental form and the relation with European Courts.
