Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who completes the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the main neurological and psychiatric pathologies of the developmental age (cerebral palsy, neuromuscular diseases, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, etc.). He or she will acquire the capacities to do a psychomotor observation and evaluation of children with these developmental disabilities.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology and on his/her participation to the practical activities. In the written report, the student must demonstrate his/her capacities to describe and explain his/her psychomotor evaluation of a clinical case.

Syllabus
The course provides notions on the main developmental disabilities (0-18 years) and especially approaches the main issues related to psychomotor observation and evaluation of children with neurological and psychiatric disorders, as cerebral palsy, neuromuscular diseases, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, visual or auditory impairments, behavioral disorders, learning disorders.
