Knowledge
The student who completes the course will be able to demonstrate a solid clinical knowledge concerning dementia and cognitive disorders as well as of personality disorders and poor impulse control. He or she will acquire knowledge on psychopathology in the pregnant woman and on emergency handling in psychiatry.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology.
The student's ability to explain correctly the main topics presented during the course will be assessed.Methods:

Syllabus
The course covers the following topics: dementia and cognitive disorders, impulsiveness and substance abuse and disorders of impulse control, personality disorders, sleep disorders, psychopathology in pregnancy, emergency in psychiatry, methods of interventions in psychiatry.
