The student who successfully completes the course will have the structural control and formal building organism through the design of a building project; will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of the contents founding equity of the major building techniques and issues relating to all the different technological and typological aspects in the construction process, even more appropriately innovative character; will be aware of necessary tools to deal with the architectural design also in the environmental field of architecture.
Verification of the acquired knowledge will be carried out through periodic written tests, oral reports and projects during the course (single and in group) concerning the main topics.

The sudent will be able to read the contents founding equity of the major building techniques and issues relating to all the different technological aspects in the construction process, even more appropriately innovative character; constructive and architectonical details in order to obtain the necessary quality construction; innovation and technological evolution; methodological approach through typological parameters, technological and structural.
During the laboratory hours, small projects will be carried out to understand both
the use of complex construction systems and individual building components. Practical activities will be done to search for sources through the use
of known databases. The student, individually or in groups, will have to carry out the project work
to demonstrate the activity being carried out.
The student will acquire and develop a sensitivity to the environmental issues for the sustainability of the building project.
The student will be able to manage the responsibility of conducting a project team.
Appropriate knowledge will be acquired for the management and control of information and data gathering and analysis activities.
During the laboratory sessions will be evaluated the level of accuracy and precision
of the activities .
During the work group will be checked the ways of defining responsibilities, managing and organizing of the project phases, of individual members.
In the seminars activities will be asked to the students a short reports about the
topics discussed.
It is deeply suggested to sit the exams of: Drawing Architecture 1 and Architecture Survey Methods, Technical Architecture 1, Architecture and architectural composition 1.
In addition is recommended to have a solid knowledge about the technical drawing, because it is necessary to develope the topics of the course, without digital support, that are permitted only when the hand drawing is completed.
It is suggested to have sitted the exams of Rational Mechanics and Solid Mechanics and Theory
of Structures and to follow Structural Design.
La didattica sarà così sviluppata:
The didactics will be developed as follows: - Frontal lessons, with the help of transparencies / slide / movies; - Individual or group exercises in classroom, personal student PCs are used; - Support tools such as web sites, building materials firms, in-depth seminars; - Completion of the teaching provided by support staff and staff members; - E-learning website is possible download the teaching material, - Interaction between student and teacher is done by means of receptions, use of e-mail and social networks via the dedicated facebook page of the course; - Presence of educational projects - Presence of intermediate tests
