Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who complete the course will be able to develop the ability of expression in the English language from the point of view of grammatical correctness and effectiveness of communication in relation to the purpose of the interaction, as well as to provide with first language skills, both written and oral which are necessary in order to communicate in a professional manner, and without ambiguity, with colleagues and clients, in the tourism sector.

Syllabus
The course is divided into two sections: a hands-on learning of the grammatical and communicative aspects of the language, and a study of linguistic forms for specialist communication in the field of tourism. In particular, there will be a study of the semantic-pragmatic dimensions for the description of tourist environments, for interpersonal communication and of marketing and advertising in various text types.
