Knowledge

The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the to the below described situations

Assessment criteria of knowledge

The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. - During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression. - The student's ability to explain correctly the main topics presented during the course at the board will be assessed. - The student must demonstrate the ability to put into practice and to execute, with critical awareness, the activities illustrated or carried out under the guidance of the teacher during the course.

Nursing care in Pediatrics - Family Centered Care and Communication in Pediatrics - The process of Nursing in Pediatrics - Drug therapy in pediatrics - Nursing care in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus - Nursing in pediatric surgery - Nursing in onco-hematology Pediatrics - The exanthematous diseases, burns - Assistance to the dying child - Nursing the child with respiratory disease - Nursing the child with gastrointestinal problems - Cystic fibrosis - The Role of the Nurse in the ill-treatment and abuse of children - Assistance at birth, the newborn physiological characteristics, thermal stabilization. - Stimulation techniques neonatal and neonatal resuscitation and basic advanced FLOW INFANT, emergency medication management. - Nursing in U.T.I.N. , Severe prematurity, incubators, automatic ventilation neonatal, VC, CPAP, PEEP, HF, TRIGGER (respiratory distress, feeding, and venous access arterial techniques of handling, method NIDCAP, Cangaroo mother care, analgesia in capillary blood sampling). - Resuscitation of pediatric basic and advanced use of defibrillator manual and semi-automatic in pediatrics. - Emergency pediatric hospital, activation of the procedure, Broselow tape method, intubation with endotracheal tube and nose tracheal, laryngeal mask insertion, peripheral venous access in urgent emergency in pediatrics, intraosseous puncture. - Triage and territorial pediatric hospital
